1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VOCABLE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VOCABLE provides a managed text-to-speech API powered by open-source models. The Service includes API access, usage dashboards, and documentation. TTS inference is provided on a best-effort basis and may be subject to latency, availability, and quality variations.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. API Usage
Rate limits: Each plan has a monthly character limit (Free: 10K, Starter: 500K, Pro: 2M). Exceeding your limit will result in API requests being rejected until the next billing cycle or plan upgrade.
Acceptable use: You may not use the Service to: generate content that impersonates real people without consent, produce misleading deepfake audio, circumvent usage limits, or resell API access without authorization.
5. Payment and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are in USD. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all text input and audio output generated through the Service. The underlying TTS models are open-source and subject to their respective licenses (F5-TTS under MIT/CC-BY-NC, NVIDIA Magpie TTS under NVIDIA NIM terms). The VOCABLE platform, dashboard, and API are proprietary.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
