Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store passwords in plain text.

Usage data: We track API usage (character counts per request, model selection, timestamps) to enforce plan limits and display usage dashboards.

Analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage, funnel events). No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog beyond your user ID for session linking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the service, enforce usage limits, process payments, send transactional emails (password reset, plan changes), and improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the US East region. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes — we cannot recover your raw API key after initial display. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store credit card information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), PostHog (analytics), and Hugging Face (TTS inference — text content only, no personal data). We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Your Rights

You can: access your data via the dashboard, delete your account by contacting support, export your usage history, and opt out of analytics by disabling JavaScript or using a content blocker.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We use PostHog for analytics which may set cookies for session tracking. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
